One of the big events at Leaksville Graded was the May Day show in the playground. Elaborate dances were performed.

In the 1950-51 school year, we were in the 5th grade.

Mrs. Alcorn's class (Leaksville-Spray): 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Mrs. French's class (Draper) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

Mrs. Sutton's class (Draper) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

The next year, 1951-52, we were sixth graders and king of the hill at our schools.

Mrs. Blake's class (Draper) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Sixth Grade class (Draper) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

The next year, 1952-53, we were seventh graders and entering Junior High.

Seventh Grade class (Draper) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

By the 1953-54 school year, we were in the 8th grade.

Eighth Grade class (Draper) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Another 8th grade homeroom was Mrs. Gunn's (from by Beth Washburn).

Next year, as 9th graders in the 1954-55 school year, we felt we were top dogs in Junior High.
